The Collodion Cowboy

My approach to wet plate photography grew from years of working with traditional film photography, where I developed an appreciation for the unique character of analog images. It became a natural progression to continue exploring traditional photographic techniques until I poured my first plate and was immediately captivated by the process. Tintypes excite me because each plate is made by hand, carrying the unique marks of the process and the moment in which it was created.
